Can we come and have a show around of Conyngham Arms to get a feel for the place? 

Viewings are by appointment only with our wedding co-ordinator. A simple call or email and we will be delighted to arrange a suitable time to offer you the best viewing of our Boutique Hotel.

 

How many people can Conyngham Arms host for a Wedding?

The Lavender suite can seat up to 150 wedding guests. The wedding reception can be as large or as intimate as you wish. We can create a more intimate setting for smaller wedding parties within this beautiful space. Our smaller tables seat up to 6 wedding guests comfortably while our larger tables can seat up to 10 wedding guests comfortably.

 

Do you have a minimum number of guest requirements?

We do have minimum requirements in order to offer exclusive use of our hotel. Monday - Thursday a minimum of 70 guests is required; and Friday & Saturday 100 guests. We do however still cater for smaller weddings, with a different offering. Please ask our wedding co-ordinator for more details.

 

What can we expect Conyngham Arms to provide to complement our package? 

Wonderful personal service to look after both you and your guests. Red carpet on arrival. Personalised menus & table plan. Table silks. Chiavari chairs. Candelabra & candles. Wedding cake stand & knife. Private garden complete with fountain to use for photographs. Pre-wedding tasting of your final selected wedding meal on a date/time to suit. The assistance of both our Wedding Coordinator and Banqueting Manager along with complimentary Bridal Suite for the night of the wedding.

 

Can you tell me more about guest accommodation?

It is a requirement to book all 15 rooms in the hotel on the night of the Wedding. In addition, we do have sister properties directly across from the hotel which offer another 15 rooms. * Please note these are subject to availability.

 

Do you host Ceremonies on-site?

On-site Ceremonies can be held 7 days a week. There is a charge of €300 to hold an outdoor or indoor ceremony at Conyngham Arms. For further information on procedures please see the official government website www.groireland.ie. The HSE holds ceremonies Monday-Friday only. For weekend ceremonies, a Religious or Secular Solemniser is required.

 

Can I add to the ceremony/ function room?

This room is yours for the day, we want you to make it your own and have it look exactly how you want. From flowers, lanterns, and personal photographs, we are happy to help personalise the room to your taste.

 

Do you cater for specific dietary requirements?

Yes, with advance notice all special dietary requirements can be catered for.

 

Is there a separate venue hire charge?

No, this does not apply to weddings held at Conyngham Arms.

 

Can you get ready onsite the morning of the wedding?

Yes, Tankardstown can offer you a private hire preparation area called ‘The Secret Garden’. This is located in our ‘Garden Village’ and is a short stroll from the Manor House and Walled Garden. Arrival from 8am.  Please see page 30 of the brochure for further information.

 

Are there Churches nearby? 

Catholic Churches nearby include Slane, Monknewtown, Rushwee, Rathkenny and Rathfeigh. 

 

Is there the option to host a two-day event?

Yes, we can host a two-day event. Our wedding coordinator would be happy to discuss our options with you.

 

Can you facilitate disabled guests?

We welcome disabled guests wherever possible at Conyngham Arms and try to facilitate their needs as best as possible, however, Conyngham Arms is a restored 18th Century Coaching Inn, so please discuss your requirements with us in advance to ensure the best laid plans can be put in place to make the day as enjoyable as possible for everyone.
