Easy Pumpkin Soup Recipe from Head Chef David

Create your own version of Head Chef David's delicious Pumpkin Soup using our simple recipe. The perfect dish to serve at a family gathering this Halloween or warm up with the delicious flavors on a cold or rainy day.


1 tbsp olive oil

1 medium pumpkin

1 white onion diced

3 crushed garlic cloves

2 litres vegetable stock

3 carrots diced

Sea salt

Cracked black pepper

Sprig fresh sage



Peel, segment and deseed pumpkin then dice and drizzle with olive oil

Roast in oven 180 degrees celcius for 25 mins

Lightly fry onion garlic and sage in pan, add dice carrots, add roast pumpkin

Add stock, bring to boil and simmer for 30 mins then blend with hand blender.

Season to taste.
